More than 10 years of professional experience in logistics and medical supply chain management especially over the past 8 years in ministry of health in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My main achievement during this period was carrying out a plan to rearrange the main warehouses, distribution system, stock monitoring system, subordinates’ responsibilities, and setting a new strategy for the annual tenders & direct purchases of medicines at the medical supply administration in Aljouf region. The medical supply administration in Aljouf covers the needs of medicines and medical equipment for 9 hospitals with total bed capacity of 1350 beds and more than 42 primary health care providers all over Aljouf. The average total cost of the annual medicines tender at Aljouf is a 100 million Saudi Riyals. Also, I recommended various improvement projects that included updating the software application for supply chain management at the ministry of health, updating the medicines list for the primary healthcare centers, setting new standards for the packaging as well as the formulation of some medicines that were included in the ministry of health tenders, and cost reduction strategies of the annual tenders for medicines that were approved for implementation by the senior management in the MOH, which in turn had positive results on the medicine services all over the kingdom. Furthermore, I devised many training programs about medical supply chain management in the ministry of health, its software application, and the impact of new medicines on the consummation rate of related old medicines. I was also successful at building and maintaining good relations with the suppliers and the customers along with sustaining good work atmosphere.
