Senior Consultant
CurrentAn architect-level technical lead who can engage clients at the CTO / CIO level, or even play a virtual CTO role on behalf of the client. Such an individual would need to have a very strong technical pedigree, a deep understanding of general systems architecture and database architecture considerations common to any large-scale implementation in any industry, leadership experience in healthcare IT or healthcare project consulting, facility with the various standards and concepts relevant to health information exchange, and the ability to aggressively attack the HealthShare learning curve with the goal of becoming an expert in how this specific technology platform addresses the various functional requirements of an HIE.An interoperability expert who has attained mastery not only with traditional point-to-point integration with HL7 2.x but also with CCD, C-CDA, and/or IHE profiles. InterSystems Caché or Ensemble experience is a huge plus here, but not strictly necessary. Intimate knowledge of one or more EMRs (integration, single sign-on, etc.) is also beneficial. We’re looking for hands-on developers who are also fully capable of fulfilling the responsibilities often assigned to an interface analyst, such as requirements gathering and development of technical specs. That said, the primary skill set is technical, and successful candidates need to be able to develop complex interfaces from beginning to end and mentor clients learning to do the same.
