Throughout four deployments I was promoted from trainee to qualified, wrote over 60 PA Grant Projects, managed a Public Assistance disaster Spend Plan tracker, and participated in Preliminary Damage Assessment. On my last deployment I lead a group of three Project Specialists providing training and supervision.

• Conducted research, analyzed data and compiled summary report on FEMA Region V Public Assistance Grant appeal trends
• Assisted with Public Assistance site inspections by documenting eligible damage to public facilities
• Aided survivors by face-to-face communication of FEMA Individual Assistance program
• Organized and coordinated Community Day for 30 local residents to volunteer at Palisades Interstate Park to clean up debris caused by Hurricane Sandy
