About Louise Walker

From experience, I knew it was really important to set out the meaning and brand of the new business in detail at outset. Clients love consistency and I didn’t want to be chopping and changing constantly in the early years. More importantly, I needed to work out what Living Money really stood for, its values and goals, and what impact it was going to make on the world. I had just met Louise, and loved her quiet confidence and her grasp of what branding was really about in the deepest sense. We worked together for around three months whilst she helped me develop the Living Money brand, a project which ended up with a beautiful brand register encompassing not only the look of Living Money, but its deepest nature and what and how it was going to communicate with stakeholders. Louise has a defined system for this sort of work, starting with a detailed exploration of the business before starting to build up a picture of the brand. Here her imagination works wonders; her best piece of intuition was, counter-intuitively, to suggest using a crow as the company’s logo, reflecting the animal’s intelligence and ability to get to its objective as efficiently and quickly as possible. From there we went into huge detail to build up the brand, culminating in the register. We all have a copy of this on our desks or as pdfs and refer to it regularly. When we need to commission a new piece of collateral we simply send the designer a copy of the register so we achieve efficiency and consistency. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Louise for any business wishing to build and develop its brand, and for help of any kind in its marketing activities. Jeremy Deedes" and "Louise took a lot of time and trouble to make sure she put together a very targeted, innovative marketing campaign for us, which impressed the ‘hard-to-get-through-to’ target market and met our objectives of enabling us to book in a series of meetings with the right senior individuals in large companies – something I think a conventional campaign would have failed to achieve."
