I have the amazing opportunity to assist in building the team within the security department at the Port of Vancouver. We have more than 20 dedicated men and women that are responsible for the safety and security of the waterfront berthing area and tenant locations. My specific responsibilities are data gathering and reporting, scheduling of staff, tenant relations, overseeing field training of new staff, process analysis and improvement, technology liaison and implementation and staff development.
