As the Director of User Terminal Engineering, I lead all technical and engineering aspects of the Telesat Lightspeed User Terminal Segment. This includes teams of Software Engineers, Software Architects and SCRUM Masters to define and develop software in support of the Lightspeed User Terminals. Our team also includes industry veterans and PhDs who are Subject Matter Experts across a wide range of topics including Satellite Communications, Systems, RF/Wireless and Antenna design. Our team comes together to define, curate, and create a portfolio of terminals with innovative components and algorithms including Antennas, RF and Modems to enable enterprise customers with a compelling service offering.
