Responsibilities include the strategic planning, management and oversight of the Customer Support, Platform Enablement, and IT teams. Built an efficient and productive team using metrics to define Service Level Agreements and SLA Adherence utilizing Salesforce.com. Decreased mean-time-to-resolution by 70% in one year with an average Customer Satisfaction of 4.7/5.0. Created a Premium Support model to provide a “white glove” support experience for our customers, while generating additional revenue for the organization. In addition, provided oversight for compliance and IT adherence of industry and corporate policies.

Vice President of Global Support/Operations for a leader in cloud services for customer engagement, communications and collaboration. Responsibilities include the strategic planning, management and oversight of a 400+ employee Global Support and Operations organization. Accountable for managing a $140M global budget, while increasing revenue and margins consistently over the past 5 years. Built an Enterprise Support team to provide Support and Administration to our largest strategic customers. Assumed responsibility for a Managed Services team to provide world-class service, and grew revenue by 300% over the past 4 years. Work closely with Sales, Legal and Services to negotiate contracts, SLA’s, and close deals.

Director of Information Technology for a high-growth technology company that manufactures unified enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS). Designed and implemented a virtualized, highly-available, and scalable infrastructure to sustain year-over-year, system, data, and employee growth. Responsibilities included managing the Salesforce.com CRM development and administration, day-to-day IT support for multiple sites in the US and EMEA, and ensuring all internal systems are highly-available. Additional responsibilities included Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity planning, creating and managing the IT Operational and Capital Expense budgets, IT Strategic planning, and vendor negotiations and management. Managed both Mac and PC clients, which included email, backup, security, IM, office productivity tools, browser, and random user software. Presented several IT webinars, which generated thousands of leads.

Director of Information Technology/Information Systems for a global software company. Responsibilities included the creation, development, execution, and support of the global IT/IS strategic planning and operations for Double-Take Software, a publicly traded company with 400+ employees and 12 global sites. The oversight/management of the company infrastructure and business systems (ERP, CRM, BizTalk, SharePoint, VOIP phone system, servers, network, and storage). Additional responsibilities included the compliance and reporting of the Sarbanes Oxley IT controls; creating and managing the Expense and Operational budgets for the global IT organization; Business Intelligence and reporting; and disaster recovery and information security planning and deployment.

Software Development Manager for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young at Clarian Hospitals. Responsibilities included the design, development, and deployment of the hospital’s public web site and Intranet site (supporting 16,000 internal employees). Coordinated efforts across multiple teams to effectively deliver complex IT systems. Additional responsibilities included the design and deployment of the hospital’s Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence infrastructure.

Software Development Manager for a market-leading IT Service Management company. Responsibilities included the management and development of an Enterprise web-based IT Service Management product suite. Other responsibilities included: managing a world-wide software development team, operational budgeting and planning, employee reviews, providing on-time delivery of products and services, and managing ‘Critical’ customer accounts.

Software Development Manager for a division of IBM. Responsibilities included project management, product design (using UML and Rational tools), software development, installation, support and documentation. Focused on the management and design of Internet/Intranet web technology products. The development of these products included the use of HTML, Perl, Java, Java Script, and C++. These products communicated with several database platforms such as Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL Server, DB2/2, and Informix. Acquired by Peregrine Systems in 2001.

President/Founder of an innovative software company that specialized in the development of pharmaceutical Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence software for hospitals. Responsibilities included software development, management, and marketing of the flagship software product CliniTrend. CliniTrend was designed and coded in C/C++ and utilized the latest in handheld technologies.

Sr. Product Developer in the Professional Services Organization for 1 year before being promoted. Responsibilities included managing customer accounts, writing design/analysis documents, and customizing software products for several large customers. Acquired by IBM/Tivoli Systems.

Software Developer in the Professional Services Organization installing and updating a material handling application specialized for the corrugated box industry. Responsibilities included module design, development, system installation, support and documentation. Position required project management and customer relation abilities in addition to programming proficiency.
