Mechanical And Piping Engineering Consultancy
CurrentI have the privilege of consulting for many great clients, from aerospace companies in the US, to geothermal, petrochemical, and other companies worldwide. The piping systems I work on touch all industries that are involved and centered around piping design challenges. I am sharing my piping engineering, expansion joint, pipe support and vibration analysis experience with these companies. For confidentiality reasons I cannot go into details beyond the following. I have been working with teams on the piping and expansion joint designs including on the latest Low Earth Orbit (LEO) rockets being developed, in addition to pipe stress analysis, pipe support and expansion joint designs for test facility and industrial piping systems. I am working to show the teams I support, how to best utilize different expansion joints and pipe supports in conjunction with the piping layouts to solve various design challenges that arise. In this and other piping industries my specialty work includes consulting in pipe stress analysis, piping design and drawings, special pipe supports, unique expansion joint designs, fatigue failure studies and analysis, dynamic piping system analysis, site investigations, pipe vibration readings and analysis, expansion joint and pipe support site investigations and analysis, piping transient loading analysis, pipe failure analysis and mitigation, finite element analysis (FEA), piping designs for miniscule rotating equipment allowable nozzle loads, short lead time turnarounds on piping design challenges for process piping, GSE and flight systems, flow induced vibration (FIV) of bellows, pressure drop review of bellows, bellows calculations, design of dynamic hardware on expansion joints and piping systems, and helping clients solve other unique challenges that arise. It is always exciting for me so please feel free to reach out with any questions.
