Support several consultants in research work for clients, including research on regulatory filings. Conduct research and created presentations on carbon capture & sequestration as well as U.S. transmission infrastructure, especially as it relates to renewable energy development and congestion. Work in a support capacity on expert testimony development and regulatory rate case filings, as well as in business development.

Researched, prepared, and presented recommendations in the form of a memorandum on the viability of entering the North American carbon offset market, specifically projects relating to the production and capture of methane gas. Represented the company in weekly meetings with relevant trade organizations and lobbying groups. Attended Capitol Hill meetings on regulatory issues regarding cap-and-trade legislation and prepared summary memoranda. Analyzed the implications of proposed federal legislation, most extensively the Lieberman-Warner climate change bill. Worked with several companies to attain verification and validation of voluntary carbon offsets for one of Econergy’s methane capture projects.

Worked for the nation’s largest recruitment, placement, and consulting firm for teachers and independent schools. In 2007 was responsible for all facets of placement for arts and athletics. Grew annual placements by 16% and annual revenue by 48%. Managed an assistant and delegated work. Developed relationships with many independent school heads and administrators. Conducted major research projects including: (1) Complete market and competitor analysis, and (2) Enforceability of work for hire and non-compete agreements as they relate to intellectual property and software development copyright laws.

Led the organizational aspects of several antitrust investigations of large-scale merger deals. Conducted market analysis within the framework of regulatory issues. Coordinated meetings and document exchange with outside counsel, contacted and interviewed competitors in specific industries, conducted significant legal research using Westlaw, and edited and offered advice on official case filings and final judgments.
