I started my career as a computer programmer and that aptitude never leaves you. As my career progressed, I went into management and eventually small business ownership. I stopped keeping up with the details of coding and fell out of practice. When I started working with Salesforce at my most recent job, I realized that this program would be an excellent conduit for me to get back into information technology. The ability to understand, explain and work in data processing never leaves you. I believe that ability combined with my management and entrepreneur experience gives me an advantage. I needed to retool my skill set for a new type of economy and Salesforce has helped me to do that.
