My name is Wally Lynch and I am a sophomore at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University majoring in finance. I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio, where I attended St. Xavier High School. Leadership has long been a virtue of mine, growing up as the oldest of four siblings. Throughout high school, I was a member of student council, the captain of our student section, and member of various community service clubs; all the while attending mission trips and leading religious retreats. Outside of athletics and academics, I was a team member of "X Out Cancer," a group which raised over $35,000 towards Leukemia and Lymphoma Research. Organizing fundraisers for this team, as well as my work experience have honed my leadership skills. For four consecutive summers, I have been a camp leader at the Bay View Boys and Girls Club, as well as holding various other positions.Now at Indiana University, I have joined the Sigma Chi fraternity as well as the Save A Child's Heart community service club. In the coming years, I plan to take advantage of the leadership opportunities both in these organizations, as well as the financial clubs and associations related to specific fields offered in the Kelley School of Business.
