As a start-up, entrepreneurial organization EEAZ through private investors serves primarily the monolingual Spanish speaking markets and has invested in the development of a proprietary web-property and a product line of personal-care products and services offered only through eCommerce.  Assembled executive team to implement the vision of creating a dating and horoscope website branded with the Walter Mercado brand. Oversight of the development of the strategic plan to monetize the “Walter Mercado” brand to secure investment capital.  Secured over 2 million dollars in startup funding from private investors. Developed a Walter Mercado “Linea Cautivadora” branded product line of over 26 SKU’s from inception to completion. Led the sourcing of a product manufacture and worked closely with C.O.O. On the development of a multi-item personal-care product line. Supervised the development and oversight of a content rich proprietary website; from inception to implementation including design, layout, and functionality of web property. Successfully grew the online presence of waltermercado.com from 0 visitor sessions to over 3.2 million in only 7 months. Led the development and launch of mobile applications for IOS and Android markets.

Company responsible for re-branding Walter Mercado under the Shanti Ananda stage name.  Created a proprietary web site to market Shanti Ananda horoscope and related products and services. Responsibilities included production, editorial and overall website management. Responsible for the management of all staff including HR, Marketing, Accounting, Shipping and Handling. Primary company spokesperson for all media inquiries for print and Television.

San Juan Puerto Rico

Monthly sports focused magazine. Identified market need for sports magazine and implemented business plan to launch product. Responsible for all areas of the magazine including sales, graphics, personnel and day to day operations. Increased circulation from 0 to over 50,000 subscribers with over 1 million dollars in yearly revenue. Sold company rights to Casiano Communications in a private sale.

Weekly Television program on channel 7 with a weekly newspaper focused golf in the Caribbean.  Full production responsibilities for content, editorial and hosting for 30 minute program. Oversight of production team including sales, camera crew, editing and pre and post production Television program had a peak of 75,000 weekly viewership. Sold newspaper to a private buyer.
