• UK subsidiary of Germany’s leading supplier of learning management, electronic performance support system and content authoring software, also bespoke e-learning content. Recruited (first UK employee) to manage IMC’s.
• Won £6 million of initial public sector business with Departments of Health and Communities & Local Government, and Financial Services Authority
• Achieved some £350,000 diversified private sector client base revenues, notably with BAE Systems and Inchcape Shipping Services

• Launched the UK distributorship of Jean d’Arcel (JDA) brand of skin care and cosmetic products
• Won over 70 active accounts in beauty salon and health farm markets
• Conceived and delivered own-labelling strategy for UK health farms

Muenchen

• Privately owned skin care and microdermabrasion equipment manufacturer. Hired as first-ever export manager with worldwide remit
• Secured distribution agreements with partners in over 20 new countries including UK
• Grew business significantly with existing partners in five major markets including USA
• Instituted formal Partnership Training Programme to strengthen links with distributors

Muenchen

• Austrian state-owned manufacturer of cigarettes and cigars. German office handled iconic heritage brand NIL (“Nile”) and Europe-wide private label cigarette sales to major retailers. Group Product Manager (own brands).
• Led re-launch of NIL brand in Germany, growing market share to 2% from zero on budget of DM 450,000.
• Grew NIL brand awareness and sales through “urban intelligentsia” image of cultural chic, expanding from Berlin-only business to national distribution.
• Delivered 20% cost savings in media purchasing and agency fees through development of new working practices.
• Successfully defended and grew market leading position in private label brands distributed through virtually all major national grocery chains.

Hamburg

• Germany’s leading privately owned manufacturer of cigarettes with approx 25% domestic market share, which expanded rapidly into Eastern Europe after the fall of communism. Promotions Manager (Duty Free & Eastern Europe)
• Delivered promotional campaigns in European Duty Free (East & West) for all major Reemtsma brands, increasing effectiveness though introduction of Europe wide training programmes for promotions staff.
• Conceived and ran promotion campaigns for Bulgaria launch of West and Davidoff brands
