• Report to the director of Merger & Acquisition Department, Investment Banking Division• To identify and analyze investment opportunities in healthcare industry: liaise with financial advisors and other collaborators to identify investment opportunities, interview management, preliminary due diligence, market research and write investment recommendation reports• To serve as an advisor to the buyer side (mostly listed pharmaceutical companies) in M&A deals: source M&A targets (through market research、 regional divisions、industry conferences), due diligence (desktop and on sites), prepare targets analyzing reports for clients’ managements and relevant parties.

• Study the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of the analogs of resveratrol using HPLC and LC-MS/MS methods.• Characterize the anti-cancer and anti-inflammation activities of stilbenoids using in vitro methods such as cell proliferation assays, Western Blotting, ELISA and RT-PCR.• Protein Biochemistry: Protein expression (using E.coli and yeast) and purification; Protein-protein interaction; Protein refolding; Protein secondary structure analysis.• Bioanalytical Assays: In vitro drug metabolism study and PK analysis of drugs from plasma samples using LC-MS/MS and HPLC.• Animal Work: Handling and doing surgery on mice and rats (such as vein catheter, cardiac puncture, tail vein injection, breeding). Animal Models for PK sampling.• Cell Culture: Primary cell culture; Cancer cell line culture; Transfection; Flow cytometry (analysis and cell sorting); Cell proliferation assays.• Basic Techniques: Molecular cloning, RT-PCR, Western Blotting, ELASA.
