As the Executive Director and co-founder of Elevate Greatness, Wanakee Trask leads a not-for-profit organization that empowers youth to make healthy and sound decisions for their future endeavors. With over three years of experience in this role, she has created a space that truly elevates students' gifts outside of the classroom, by providing them with the tools and opportunities to pursue their passions and goals.Wanakee has a BA in Education from Northern Illinois University and has served as an Army National Guard Specialist for over 9 years. She has also worked as a teacher, coach, and facilitator in various schools within the Chicago Public Schools system. She is passionate about exposing students to post-secondary options that are not confined to attending four-year colleges and universities, such as vocational, entrepreneurial, philanthropic, etc. She also leverages her skills in media production and start-up leadership to amplify the impact and reach of Elevate Greatness.
