Leading the leaders of the Faster internal platforms team at iFood.At that time, Faster was an internal team, composed of a portfolio of platforms that offered services to enhance the customer engagement such as:- Analytics - data collection platform, including but not limited to A/B testing results.- Experimentation - the platform to build and coordinate A/B testing at iFood application.- Communications - the platform responsible to deliver high throughput (Millions DAU) push messages to iFood customers.- User profile - the user profile platform for iFood, embryo and built to be extended to a segmentation platformMy role from an engineering perspective was to guarantee that the leaders of each platform has been aligned with the company goals, managing their teams to meet the expected results to achieve the cycle objectives developing, maintaining and running the software in production, keeping a safe, productive and efficient work environment, using the most advanced technologies to solve the problems being faced while keeping the platforms high quality technical standards minimizing the technical debt.From a product perspective my role was to be in sync with my GPM partner discussing strategies and plans to deriving from the company high level goals design the team tactical plans to contribute into the global objectives.

Leading the build, evolution and maintenance of two Platform teams:- A highly scalable Communications platform, responsible to deliver more than 250 million notifications per day with a very low latency;- A data intensive Events collection service, responsible to collect, ingest and store more than 8 billion events per day;As an engineering manager I'm responsible to build the engineering teams (includding hiring), guarantee the team commitments and deliveries, guide the team members career evolution and discuss technical solutions bringing tech suggestions while questioning the engineering status quo.The whole tribe technical evolution, tech debt payoff and security related subjects are also part of my day-to-day responsibility. As an Engineering Manager, responsible for the Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE) development in Brazil I've hired new members and split the team into two squads, one responsible to build KPE OEM Android Operational System specific features and the other responsible to build KPE Android applications. During that period SIDI's influence has grown over Samsung KPE R&D centers and Brazil teams became the main KPE reference in the world.At the same time, I've assumed as a manager to build a third squad, a Data Engineering squad that would be responsible to, in conjunction with Samsung Research Canada, ETL the various Samsung Knox products different databases building coherent datalakes to serve both, analytical and data sciences purposes.As an engineering manager my roles were pretty similar as the ones as a project coordinator, with an special pinch of people management, taking care of people's career development while guaranteeing a safe, lean, results oriented and pleasant place to work.

During 2016 I've been working as a team leader, coordinating an ethical hackers squad in terms of technical guidance and carreer development support while actively working as a hacking developer at Samsung Mobile division.In 2017 with a relevant security background I've assumed as an Engineering Project Coordinator (a role similar to the Engineering manager entry level) at a software development squad responsible to build and maintain the Samsung Knox Platform for Enterprise in conjunction with other worldwide Samsung R&D laboratories. My roles at this position vary from technically assisting the team on finding the best solutions for the product to discussing roadmaps, resource allocation, risks mapping and enhancing SIDI R&D position with executives and strategical stakeholders.

Tightened the relationship with brazillian northeast development laboratories becomming the Samsung technical representative on projects under their development.The projects scope were broad, from mobile applications to web services, my role have been to assist the teams on architectural needs, build Samsung software parts to serve their services and techinically guarantee the software quality standards.Early 2015 I've changed my position to become an etichal hacker, activelly working on a Samsung Android red team, the role was to find ways to hack Samsung Android devices, identifying vulnerabilities on those systems before it reaches the market, during 2015 and 2016 I've became the team technical leader, starting to have managerial responsibilities and got also involved on Tizen hacking activities.
