The overall aim is to devise both experimental and analytical techniques to establish the multi-mode fracture characteristics of sandwich composites and establish a means for introducing damage tolerance by inhibiting defect propagation. The science underpinning this aim is the fracture mechanics of a bi-material interface and a tri-material wedge. New formulations and laws are developed which are implemented into finite element models for predicting the damage evolution and residual strength of the structure. Show less

1. Recruited in the BOM department of a PDM project. Project involved maintaining their database and unified them with the Asian-Pacific region.2. Thyssenkrupp at the time had four types of elevators. I was recruited in a group in which the job was to put all the materials and components in order together with their material-number, mechanical drawings, functions and numbers etc. Also, classify them to right positions using their set membership between each other.
