During my academic career, I obtained a master's degree in Publishing from New York University as well as a bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Language, Writing, and Rhetoric and a minor in Film Studies at North Carolina State University. I've taken a multitude of relevant courses that have allowed me to become more informed about the topics I'm interested in pursuing professionally. I'm dedicated to utilizing my education to craft well-thought-out written materials and help others produce high-quality content.I'm currently serving as an editor for Investopedia. Previously, I worked as a marketing intern for Valiant Entertainment, where I gained first-hand experience with an established comic book company. I was also the DC section head for ComicsVerse, a fast-growing digital magazine whose content includes musings on comics and popular culture. During my time at ComicsVerse, I was given opportunities to take on multiple additional responsibilities; both on the editorial side as well as acting as a liaison between ComicsVerse and DC Entertainment's Publicity Managers.A few years ago I was involved in a summer internship with the independent television company EUE/Sokolow. During my brief time with this company, I was given the opportunity to provide coverage reports for materials intended for adaptation. My life-long endeavor is to always give any task or assignment my complete attention and utmost effort, and I hope the quality of my work speaks to that.In both professional circles and academic activities, I've gained significant experience with writing and editing.
