Higher Education has seen a major sea-change over the last ten years. As a faculty member and Administrator who came into the profession during this time period I have a strong understanding of the past, and future, of higher education. I am deeply committed to student success, and thus, I am committed to helping institutions improve student performance. Improved performance requires an embedded tradition of measurement, reflection, and continuous improvement. Such culture changes sometimes require a push to get started, but are maintained through meaningful collaborations and an infrastructure of support. The future of Higher Education involves a significantly more engaged, and at times intrusive, institution focused on creating pathways with a proven record of augmenting student success. It isn't about seeking "silver bullets" or "quick fixes" but instead involves the relentless review of current operations to remove ineffective processes and replace them with proven improvements.
