Established in 1947, Sojamax, Inc. is a 1,347 acre agricultural operation located in Blanton and Onward, MS. We built Mississippi's first land-based grain elevator and once had the largest herd of purebred cattle in the state. Named from latin roots, the name Sojamax means "Great Soybean". Sojamax, Inc.'s founder, my wife's grandfather, Ralph Ferrell was well awarded for his service to both Mississippi business and politics which included an induction to the Mississippi Cattleman's Hall of Fame. In addition to corn, soybeans, cotton and rice, we have also reestablished 505 acres of bottomland hardwoods.

Since 1996, South Delta Hunting Club, Inc. has been a private 2500 acre duck & deer hunting club located 30 miles north of Vicksburg in Onward, Mississippi. Our location is the center point of the circle made by Twin Oaks WMA, Sunflower WMA, Mahannah WMA, Anderson-Tulley WMA, Shipland WMA, Lake George WMA, Panther Swamp NWR, Delta National Forest, and the Mississippi River which places us in one of the most optimal geographic locations for attracting waterfowl in the state. Those areas alone comprise over 123,000 acres of public hunting all within a 30 minute drive of our lodges. Annually we receive numerous amounts of Mallards, Gadwall, Wood Ducks and Teal on our property. SDHC has a maximum of 10 members. We are currently full although membership openings do occasionally come available. Membership includes full access to all of our duck holes, deer stands, our two well-appointed lodges and warehouse storage from September to March for you and your guest.
