I work worldwide engineering both Front of House and Monitors for concert and corporate events.My recent work has included designing and providing systems for week long multi-venue festivals, touring rigs across the UK, and engineering concerts and events in the UK, Europe and America.Being a perfectionist I am always keen to make sure the events look and sound fantastic, ensuring the audience are able to enjoy the event without distraction.I've engineered festivals including the award winning End of the Road festival in Salisbury, Scarborough Festival featuring Bellowhead, The Hoosiers and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Wychwood main stage and Midsummer Magic held in Lincoln and Grantham, with acts including the Sugababes, McFly, Bootleg Beatles, Bjorn Again, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Hayley Westenra with Aled Jones, Badly Drawn Boy, The Acorn, A Hawk and a Hacksaw, Bon Iver, British Sea Power, Brakes, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band, Noah and the Whale, Richard Hawley and Tindersticks to name a few...

Install Engineer working on Ashdown's theme park projects.I worked on projects for Ashdown AV including installing the sound for Mutiny Bay and the Monorail at Alton Towers, as well as some work on the new Saw ride at Thorpe Park.

Engineered and tech for a variety of events including work within the Royal Albert Hall for Born Free, and the Science Museum for Ford.

Freelance Sound work for CSS, including festivals such as the New Dawn Events festival at Shrewsbury, and the End of the Road festival in Salisbury.

Sound and System Tech for Moonlite Productions on corporate events for large clients across London and the UK.

Sound Recordist for a variety of shoots including work in difficult conditions on the Birling Gap cliff tops, as well as work within schools.

I started my work here as a placement student in 2004 - 2005 before continuing working for B and H as a freelance engineer.During my placement year I learnt the equipment in depth by prepping and maintaining it as well engineering events. I worked for both the recording and the live department.Skills gained include recording and editing albums, mastering albums, setting up and running conferences and engineering concerts and outdoor theatre shows.Since becoming freelance for B and H I have engineered many of their major events, including Newday, Spring Harvest (big top), Midsummer Magic and work on The Stand at the NEC.
