Warren Dobson Email and Phone Number
After graduating from Penn State in 1978, I worked for Conoco in the Rockies division. Progressed from Associate Engineer through Supervising Production Engineer. Primary responsibilities were related to production operations, well workovers, evaluation and development of exploration wells and design of well stimulation. Joined ARCO Alaska, Inc. in 1984 as Sr O/A Engineer in Anchorage assigned to the West Sak Waterflood Pilot project. Primary responsibilities related to reservoir surveillance. Moved to Cook Inlet Field Engineering position and then transitioned into an Operations position as Well Foreman responsible for the Cook Inlet wellwork. Became the Field Foreman at Beluga River gas field responsible for all aspects of operation and maintenance of the ARCO gas production operation. Transferred to Kuparuk Operations as a Drill Site Supervisor in 1993. The position evolved from solely a drill site operations focus through a combined engineering and operations phase, to a position involving responsibility for both the plant and drill site operations and maintenance. Transferred to CPF1 as a Production Supervisor in 2001. Moved to the Western North Slope as Alpine Operations/Maintenance Superintendent in 2003. Alpine has special challenges due to its remote, roadless design and location in the critical environment of the Colville River Delta. Retired from ConocoPhillips in April 2014.
