As a Network Engineer I have the best of both worlds by being able to help people while doing something I love! My passion for helping people really flourished while working as a Communications Specialist in the Marine Corps, where I found great joy (and somewhat made it my personal mission) in being consistently reliable at establishing and troubleshooting radio communication networks. Personal excitement about continuously learning new systems and equipment fed my drive for wanting to help find solutions to network connectivity (and led to a couple meritorious promotions as well as recognition awards).After being discharged from the Marine Corps my love for troubleshooting and configuring networks led me train and earn certifications from NexGenT, and go on to gain gain industry experience as a Network Engineer. As an Network Engineer I have gained a clear understanding of areas such as Routing and Switching, Wireless, Security, Data Center, Cloud, Automation, Virtualization and VoIP.
