Throughout my career I have used my creativity, vast industry knowledge and strong relationship building skiils to either take an existing function that had plateaued and get it back on a track of significant growth or to formulate and implement new business functions to create revenue and grow share.My objectives are to continue working in an industry where I can utilize my talents and experience to contribute to a company's growth both financially and in market position.The experience that I have is quite diverse. I started as a sales person and was very successful. After being promoted into sales management I continued to have success in deveoping and coaching others and enhancing their success. When I moved into corporate management I held positions including manager, director and vice president. My experience in these positions included leading a joint venture financing company where I was able to increase both revenue and margin dramatically. Taking a stagnant advertising and product promotion effort and revitilizing it through new looks and an overall change in our corporate positioning from just one of the pack to an industry leader. When given responsibility for a national multi-tiered fleet management program, I was able to create a new more comprehensive product that attracted customers and helped increase our market share and revenue.I have enjoyed the diversity of my career and look forward to continuing to learn while contributing to the right company’s success.

Working with our dealer sales management teams to assure they are utilizing CRM properly to help measure and maximize their salespeople's performance as well as their forecast accuracy.Making direct customer calls and assisting in developing and presenting solutions for customer's material handling issues. Participating in presentations with both dealer sales people and national account representatives to win business and create partnerships with our clients. Having a complete understanding of what all of our products and services can do either individually or in concert with one another to help our clients create the most efficient and productive processes for their material flow. Creating and conducting training programs for our salespeople in product, financial merchandising, territory/ account coverage and sales management.One of the most important fuctions is to keep the information flowing from the OEM to the dealers and back to the OEM so that we are all aware of what our various clients needs are and directing our efforts on solving them.

    Managed a network of Yale dealers focusing on building relationships with the OEM while at the same time assuring that dealer contract obligations were understood and met.This included reviewing specific performance criteria such as market share, management capabilities, financial performance and strength. Based on these measurements I made recommendations and participated in the decisons as to which dealers would help our company achieve our objectives and which dealers would not. I also evaluated and recommended new dealers to replace underperforming dealers. All of this required a close working relationship with senior management , sales/marketing, legal, accounting management and the overall dealer network.

    Responsible for running a joint venture finance company between Yale of NACCO Material Handling Group and GE Capital. Annual revenue of over $350 million in wholesale and retail financing. Created and implemented all sales and marketing strategies and tactics to assure our continued growth as well as meeting or exceeding all financial objectives. Full P&L responsibilities.Responsibilities also included managing and directing all remarketing activities including staffing , sales planning as well as meeting or exceeding all remarketing financial objectives including full P&L responsibility.Responsible for the fleet mananagement division of Yale. This division managed over 30,000 units for various customers under contract on a national basis. Services included call center, tracking all maintenance costs and providing reports as well as oversight on charges, recommendations for fleet sizing, optimal replacement cylce as well as working with National Account sales people in creating and presenting proposals.Responsible for all planning, staffing, financial forecasting and full P&L responsibilities.
