 Managed product portfolio for USG’s $380 MM joint compound business and $20 MM plaster business. Increased market share by 2.4% and added $23 MM of incremental profit in 2014 through 2017. Introduced a new product formulation resulting in more than $1.4 MM in annual savings. Converted the small package powder line to a flexible package, improving the category gross profit margins by 25%. Updated USG joint compound packaging to display new branding, be OSHA compliant, and create labeling consistencies.

 Worked directly with The Home Depot to develop and implement new supply chain processes and ensure that USG met key in-stock metrics and was prepared for upcoming promotions. Collaborated with THD Merchant to set up emergency warehouses during Hurricane Sandy to ensure 24/7 coverage for disaster relief.  Helped Lowe’s increase its in-stock inventory position by $8 MM to actively target pro/contractor customers. Led the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) team, handling more than $2.5MM of consigned inventory

 Led a $65 MM (35%) finished goods inventory reduction. Managed five plant shut-downs to align network capacity and operations with industry demand. Communicated impacts of supply-related issues to Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Transportation, delivering alternative solutions.

 Implemented an Oracle ERP system for 40+ manufacturing and distribution facilities. Trained HQ and manufacturing personnel on the functionality of Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Applications.  Engineered each of USG’s 20 centralized planning processes.

 Initiated a rail plan saving more than $600,000, as well as a truck plan saving over $500,000 annually. Analyzed and negotiated contracts for 20 of USG’s carriers.
