Key Functions:• Costing and timeline projection of industrial & municipal water treatment equipment • Formulation of project specifications, contract negotiation and administration of subcontracts • Integrate, co-ordinate and manage the design, procurement, construction and commissioning• Subcontractor supply and installation management • Project development and control • Control of Cost, Time, Scope, Quality, Risk & Procurement • Formulation of weekly progress reports and critical path management Role and Responsibilities: Overall Cost Management• Approve budget changes maintaining full traceability• Manage scope adjustments and cost implication Overall milestone and key date management• Manage delays and scope changes to still achieve key milestones• Documentation and traceability of all changes and impact to project Develop and updating of Engineering Designs• Ensuring constant feedback from the client and advising them on the best course of action• Implementation of design changes to ensure client satisfaction and optimal operational criteria Contractor Management• Promoting an open environment for suppliers and contractors to contribute to the overall success of the project• Support contractors and suppliers in setting realistic and achievable goals• Red flagging problems or delays as they occur to implement effective counter measures Commissioning & Project Close-out• Manage commissioning team and completion of commissioning stages• Close-out project with final figures and contractual documents
