This is an evening position. I am a part-time instructor in the bachelor of business program. Brown Mackie College operates on a "one class per month" format. Since beginning with the College I have taught statistics, accounting (financial and payroll), and marketing.

This is an unusual, dual role, with a public accounting firm. In addition to staff accounting and business advisory duties, I am the firm's business development specialist. I am reworking the marketing plan which includes products, promotion (website and communication vehicles) and distribution policies.

The business has stabilized so I took the opportunity to complete the Master of Accounting program at U.N.M. I have been mostly involved in the accounting side of the business since January of 2011.This is a rehabilitation consultancy. It is a small family business. I set it up for my wife Diane while I was finishing the U.N.M. MBA program at The University of New Mexico Anderson School of Management.I did the initial marketing research, technology and threat assessments. I wrote the brochures, press release and 2-minmute drill.The initial sales effort landed three public sector accounts and a few private attorneys specializing in Long-term Disability litigation.My wife Diane is the actual service delivery person. She provides vocational evaluations, testing and expert testimony.

This was a temporary consulting position in which I helped this government super computer contractor start a cloud computing business. I built the marketing and sales plan which included branding, product, communication (including web-based) sales and launch plans. Organization successfully debuted September, 2011.
