Researches health, social and economic issues in greater Cleveland and around Ohio to support work that improves conditions in the community. Develops resources to support local advocacy efforts, including community fact sheets for neighborhoods, legislative districts, cities, and counties across the state.Consults with organizations in greater Cleveland to help them assess the communities they serve, build capacity, and better utilize data to inform their work.

Managed a learning center which was part of a holistic program for men experiencing homelessness. The goal of the learning center was to empower clients by providing a supportive learning environment designed to promote success in pursuing their goals and interests. In most cases clients faced significant barriers to employment, such as limited education, lack of training, criminal backgrounds, and technological difficulties. I provided adult education opportunities, job and career readiness, and job search training and assistance, all with the goal of helping clients overcome those barriers.

I was tasked with overhauling the administrative systems for Pathways Family Outreach Services, the arm of the City Mission that primarily served children, youth, and families. I created innovative, new administrative systems in order to improve productivity and efficiency while prioritizing high quality programming for youth and families. I also worked closely with leadership to identify outcomes for the programming and created effective systems for tracking those outcomes.I managed the installation of a new urban community garden, secured monetary and in-kind donations, recruited volunteers, and supervised day-to-day operations of the garden.Along with program staff, I trained interns to assist with programming, and I supervised teams of interns.
