as CEO of Hooker Corporation I led the LJHooker franchise network across 12 countries. The primary goals were to grow market share and profit for the group, which comprised some 7000 people across 750 franchises, specialising in Residential,Commercial, Rural, Business Broking, Project Marketing and Property Management. Double digit growth in market share(in a period of global downturn = GFC) and outperformance relative to the total market trends were achieved. Profit levels were strong and consistent in my tenure.The brand was reinvigorated under my leadership after a 15 year period, so as to provide a platform for growth into the future, supported strategically with recruitment, personal development, marketing and service offering initiatives.

as Chairman of LJHooker Limited I led a most competent Board of Directors to outstanding outcomes in terms of the execution of the business plans, franchisee relationships and profit achievement for the organisation.

As Chairman of LJHooker Financial Services, the level of home finance and insurance lodgements across the Hooker Group grew from commencement to c.$2 billion in just under 3 years. The integration of home loans and other financial services into the offering by L.J. Hooker franchises to the public, was part of a strategic pathway of establishing a 'one stop shop' for all elements of the property transaction cycle.

in this role, I grew and led a team whose performance improved to be the best performing franchise in the LJHooker network, doubling volume turnover to over $350million, and increasing profits considerably for the business.

as State Manager I was responsible for assisting franchise owners grow their business market share and profit. This occurred in both N.S.W(overseeing 75 offices) and South Australia(50 offices). The growth in these regions was the best in the LJ Hooker company in terms of volume and profit. I also recruited 51 new franchises to the LJ Hooker network, adding to the ongoing business opportunities for the Hooker network.
