Building an observability platform in bioinformatics to make analyses more tangible and powerful.

Postdoctoral Scientist at Taipale Labs, University of Cambridge led by Professor Jussi Taipale (elected member of the Nobel Assembly at the Karolinska Institutet). The Taipale group is a global leader with focus on high-throughput screening and computational & experimental methods to identify causative mutations in non-protein coding DNA, transcriptional machinery and the analysis of regulatory genetic networks.My key role is in the development of new multi-omics read-outs for regulatory elements of the genome in cancer models and in the investigation of new models for transcription factor-nucleosome-DNA interactions that regulate gene expression and the genome structure.

Acquired essential entrepreneurial know-how and skills and was involved in critical network-building during the course of the programme.

Completed my PhD degree under the purview of the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology and the National University of Singapore. Specilaised in techniques ranging from genomics and molecular biology to proteomics and cell culture while using embryonic stem cells as a model.

Worked on Molecular Immunogenetics of Asthma i.e. translation studies in asthma patients.

Observed work on and also assisted in a project on the early diagnosis of oral cancer based upon tissue autofluorescence studies.
