I am responsible for managing the Xerox Production Solutions portfolio in the European Innovation Centres. I ensure that the solutions are leading edge and can clearly differentiate and demonstrate the Xerox value proposition and go-to-market strategy.I also provide ‘subject matter expertise’ in Web to Print, Workflow, Colour Management and Variable Data and present to Executives and Customer at sales and customer events.Currently, I am leading a project to deliver innovative ways to showcase the Xerox Next Generation Manage Print Services strategy.

This role involved identifying, planning and delivering marketing initiatives to increase the Xerox production solutions portfolio revenue. These initiatives included cross media campaigns, workshops, standardising demonstrations and leading customer events. In addition I acted as a point of reference for all sales enquiries related to production solutions. I worked frequently with the other parts of the business to provide resolutions.I also planned and launched new solutions and updates to direct and Channel Partner sales and analysts teams.

Having been a Xerox customer, I could relate to the requirements and concerns, so soon became sought-after by sales to attend customer meetings and produce proposals. I then managed the installation and provided post sales support in both commercial and public sector accounts.With my offset and digital production print knowledge I also became the subject matter expert in colour management and web to print.Xerox Marketing involved me in customer events to present and demonstrate the Xerox colour management and web to print solutions.At Ipex 2010 I was responsible for creating, installing and presenting the 4-screen production solutions demonstration in the Workflow zone.

I was responsible for 6 prepress operators who prepared commercial files for output to film and plate. The company then won the contract to produce the Chelsea Football Cub home program, which involved typesetting and printing the program under very tight deadlines. To meet the new demands, a new CTP and workflow system was installed and a double day shift was introduced. I successfully introduced and managed both and we never missed the delivery deadline.The existing MIS system was DOS based and I was given the task to research, select and implement a new Windows based system. I successfully managed the installation of a new MIS with shop floor data collection and integration to the accounts system plus install a new Windows server for email. The company decided to expand into digital and I was given the responsibility for the company’s digital strategy. Xerox was selected as a partner and one of the first DC2060 in the UK was installed. Digital volumes grew and as a result I managed the subsequent installation of a Xerox iGen3.
