• As a Project Coordinator within the Customer Technology (CT) Enterprise Release (ER) PMO, oversee and manage the entire CT software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the Enterprise Release from the pre-product definition phase to deployment, and enforce the standards & guidelines to be followed throughout the process.• Provide a number of project management services to the CT portfolio, including capacity, cost & effort acquisition and analysis; scope, schedule, & budget management; risk & issue management; change control management; and preparation of associated documentation. • As a Project Coordinator in the Customer Technology (CT) Planning group, managed at a cross-portfolio PMO level the workstreams for several large, cross-portfolio freight-related projects (incl. a collaboration project between UPS & DHL). • Monitored and ensured that project plans and schedules were coordinated across impacted project teams and reflected on the master project plan, and that those teams executed tasks and provided needed deliverables per the master project plan.• Collected, monitored and reported to upper management the monthly par costs for the UPS/DHL project. This included working with the various project portfolios to identify projected workstream project costs and to ensure that those project costs were properly allocated to the correct pars, for tracking purposes. • Collected, consolidated, and reported to upper management the weekly project team statuses for the projects.• Identified, captured and facilitated the resolution of project action items, risks, and issues.

• As a lead analyst on the Customer Technology (CT) Requirements Team for UPS, led and mentored junior analysts and contractors to successfully complete on schedule requirements analysis and documentation on a number of enterprise release initiatives. Held team members accountable for quality of work; participated in the discipline/Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) documentation process several times when warranted. • Provided additional guidance and informal mentoring to other team members of Requirements Team.• Coordinated as well as performed requirements analysis & documentation for a number of very large cross-portfolio initiatives, for web-based applications and PC-based client systems (incl UPS.com web applications and the UPS WorldShip PC-based shipping application). Worked with various stakeholders and analysts across organizational boundaries on multiple simultaneous Enterprise-wide initiatives.• Facilitated large cross-functional requirements worksessions & review meetings.• Designed and instituted a configuration management program for the functional documentation. • Performed project management work for On Demand Systems (ODS) group in UPS. Work included preparing project plans and coordinating project tasks across multiple external groups in various locations.• Performed requirements analysis & documentation for ODS Phase 2 project, porting ODS from IBM OS/2 to MS WindowsNT.• Worked in QA for first release of the ODS system under intense 7 day-a-week schedule for several months. Successfully performed simultaneous system test and product test on multiple builds a week. • Served as Test Team Leader for the ODS version 2 migration from OS/2 to WinNT. Planned, scheduled and oversaw a team of 4 test analysts, ensuring that all test activities were done on schedule and per plan. • Worked as primary Development liaison to the Business for ODS version 2 UAT. • Created manual and automated test scripts, using Segue Q&A Partner's version of C++.• Performed hardware assembly and upgrade of client/server test systems, including memory, CPUs, hard drives, tape backups. Installed, configured, tested, and debugged test-related ODS application software and test tools.

• Worked primarily in district Industrial Engineering (IE) at UPS on Long Island, NY, re-looping driver routes with the goal of reducing miles and increasing efficiency. Used Loop Detail (LD) and Computer-Assisted Controlled Dispatch (CACD) applications as tools in re-defining driver’s routes. Worked with preloaders and on-car with drivers to train them on the revised routes. • Worked a rotational one year assignment as the district Buildings & Facilities (B&F) Coordinator, responsible for performing financial analysis (NPV) and preparing proposals for district projects exceeding $300,000 in cost, which were presented to Region & Corporate appropriation offices for approval. • Performed SQL programming for District reports via the Query Management Facility (QMF).• Filled in as-needed and during peak season in Operations, performing hub loading/unloading, preload, helper coordination, and delivery work.Worked one year on special assignment to Corporate IE (1995):• Worked on the IE Information Library (Info Lib) project doing programming in MS-Access Basic, as well as developed UI’s and pre-canned reports for use by the field.• Acted as a User Rep for the Info Lib project, fielding questions from the Users in the field and assisting them with meeting their Info Lib reporting needs.• Worked as a Training instructor for the IE Info Lib project, providing advanced MS-Access training to Region IE personnel.
