Electrical Endorsee
CurrentTo ensure compliance with Electrical Safety Act 2002 and Electrical Safety Regulations 2002.This is done by performing site audits, skills audits, using a variety of tools such as, test boards, theory papers on legislation, relevent standards and codes of practice. Tool box talks and electrical safety meetings as well as meeting with other technical electrical endorsees. I also arrange and provide training to staff if and when required, either in house or with an approved external training provider.I provide assistance to our project managers in electrical and voice and data projects as well as performing site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation as well as specification requirements.I am asked to confirm costings and estimates for engineeing work and ensuring drawings are correct and that there is no conflicts between drawing notes and specification requirements.
