Commended throughout my career for my commitment to positive customer experiences and professionalism. Having just completed a short term contract as Aviation Services Manager, prior to joining Power and Water Corporation, for Darwin International Airport and Alice Springs Airport, where I was responsible for implementing processes and procedures following the selection of a new contract provider. I was in charge of 100 plus staff assigned to ensuring the safety and security of the airport , in addition ensuring the contractual obligations and time frames associated to all other stakeholders where adhered to. Contractual commitments included passenger/carpark assistance external patrols, inappropriate behavioural management and removal and the x-ray security and screening points, both interstate and internationally. Previous roles to this include working in conjunction with Australian Border Force, where I drew upon my solid interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills as Operations Manager assigned to train, plan, coordinate and allocate resources associated to the transport of persons in detention to, local activities, events, appointments, interstate relocation and/or international transfer via domestic airlines or specialised charter flights to country of origin. Such tasks involved numerous departmental input and departure plan production and approval including contingencies in the event of unforeseen circumstances, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction prior to implementation. In the 10 years previous I have been employed as a Manager, Coordinator and Team Leader for the UK overseas escorting marketplace providing services for both in country and overseas international removals of foreign national prisoners, maritime stowaways and failed asylum seekers, on behalf of the British Government.Due to recent redundancy I wish to orchestrate a career change and looking for new challengers that may utilise my experience.
