Wayne Cartwright – BiographyAt the age of 18, Wayne started out in sales as a trainee van driver, delivering wine. Whilst delivering, he would take an order book and ‘up sell’ other wines, soon becoming the companies top salesman whilst on his rounds.A year later he decided to cut his teeth in Telecommunications during the “fax boom”. In 1987, Wayne and 2 co-founders set up a company called Britannia Communications. As Britannia diversified, he was instrumental in creating and running two sister companies that offered maintenance services to telephone system. They also became one of the first resellers in the UK to offer network services (telephone calls and lines) to businesses.In 2005, Britannia group was sold to AT Communications in a deal worth in excess of £6Million.After a short time out of the industry, Wayne continued his success by creating another all-encompassing communications company that would cater for the converging Voice, Data and Mobile technologies.In 2008, Wayne bought a mobile company called Worsley Phone Centre Ltd and from this, created a fixed line company called Communicate Better Ltd. Soon after, Wayne added an IT Company (Advanced Computer Systems Ltd) to the group and a new head office was bought to bring together the 3 different industries. Wayne soon became CEO of Communicate Better Ltd, a company which continues to go from strength to strength by creating systems which deliver excellent customer experience.They have forged partnerships with some of the largest and most respected networks in the UK and have acquired 3 more companies in the past year.
