Managing the installation of all shell and core CHW, LTHW (plant & pipework) public health and domestic services of a new build 21 storey building. The building is providing both office and retail space in Blackfriars Rd London. The installation is a mixture of both modular plant, risers and on site fabrications. I'm currently managing operatives consisting of subcontractors, agency and GBE's own company men to carry out the work to the high standard required whilst ensuring all health & safety training and procedures are carried out.My input into this project covers -Day to day management of the mechanical workforce.Ordering of all materials required to the given specification.Planning, coordination, problem solving and inspection of the mechanical installations.Keeping all office work up to date including plant maintenance, delivery / distribution of materials, writing and distribution of Method Statements / Risk Assessments, CVI's, RFI's, time sheets, Health & safety, training, Carbon footprint records, as-built drawings, quality check sheets and test sheets.

With a varying level of supervisory roles from general on site management to project managing works in many countries (Dubai, USA, Norway & France). My works have covered: procurement, programming and project management of numerous plantrooms simultaneously (Sussex University). These works have covered the management of material distribution, the preparation and issue of method statements and risk assessments to the Clients team for individual sections of work, Client liaison with regards to the logistic planning of the works with consideration given to the buildings operations in line with the project costs and program timescale, Being fully involved with clients, consultants and QS team from start to finish of a project. The induction and briefing of the work force to works packages, with an emphasis on Health & safety, To manage works and labour during the installation / commissioning period and to inspect / snag the finished installation for client hand-over. Before entering into Building Services industry i completed my apprenticeship at Tees Base Engineering, based at Simon Storage (Seal Sands). On completion of my apprenticeship i went on to build a very strong and established background within the Petro-Chemical & Shipyard industry (working in Norway, Scotland and the UK).

Dubai International Airport, Dubai: New airport terminal - Managing a team of 55 pipefitters, ducters & welders to instal new pantrooms at the new terminal.Daily duties included attending meetings with the main contractor (ALEC), programming of works & allocating labour, progress reporting, drawing co-ordination and on-site problem solving.
