Initial requirements of this role were to discharge the responsibilities of the previous PBO role incumbent, whilst leading the review, adaptation and integration of the CFP waste management and decommissioning approaches developed as part of the PBO Bid into an enhanced Magnox integrated waste management and decommissioning strategy that was acceptable to all internal, regulatory and customer stakeholders. Role then developed to support the integration of a revised technical delivery model, self-developed as part of my responsibilities on the successful PBO competitive tender.Following the successful completion of these objectives the role broadened into a wider governance and functional management remit to provide technical leadership, governance and assurance that the company maintained an effective technical strategy, capability and technical solutions to support delivery of the Waste Management, Decommissioning and post-closure Care & Maintenance programmes. -
