Buildroute Limited, have been providing the North East of England with a comprehensive range of services relating to construction works with particular emphasis on masonry. We have a broad range of clients, ranging from major contractors right through to local authorities. Our workforce complies of around 38 direct employees to include Managers, Office Staff and various on site construction skilled operatives; we also employ around 100+ in-direct labour only bricklaying sub contractors. The documented system provides for management controls that ensure that the Company’s Policy Statements are implemented and that continual improvement of our overall Health & Safety performance is achieved.This Policy has been designed to provide an overview to our Health & Safety Management System (HSMS) and related controls. Reference is made to other documents that are used in the operation of our Management System and copies of such controlled documents may be requested from our HSMS Representative (Marie Chapman). Appendix A provides an overview of Management System documentation against OHSAS 18001:2007 standard clauses.
