Results-driven and hands-on, I am a decisive manager and leader with a positive, take-charge attitude who has over 40 years of comprehensive experience in the retail furniture delivery industry. I never lose focus of my customers’ requirements and concerns, with a long, proven track-record of follow-through, and taking personal responsibility to deliver on my promises. In my lengthy career, I have accumulated an extensive, practical understanding of building a delivery operation from the ground up. I utilize forward thinking and common sense to both avoid problems and solve them. I enjoy coaching/mentoring, relationship building, and implementing quality improvement practices. I believe one of my greatest strengths over the years has been coaching, grooming and training in-home delivery drivers to provide courteous and considerate service that sets a business head and shoulders above the rest through extreme customer satisfaction and excellent word-of-mouth recommendations. I also have expertise in training drivers to load and unload truck for efficiency and product damage prevention. I am currently seeking opportunities in this area.
