Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with an in-depth experience of product design from concept generation through to production implementation. A team player who also works well independently. Has a strong analytical skill with significant attention to detail.As a Senior Design Engineer, I have been responsible for the design and implementation of industrial equipment for a number of years. This has involved starting from concept design and generating design specifications, normally from marketing briefs through to full production implementation. Usually following a tollgate process, as well as initial design, my role has also included supplier selection, prototyping, part validation, system testing and full product development.While designing technically excellent product, consideration towards project and product costs as well as meeting project timescales is critical and will influence final design solutions.With many projects, solutions are not always straight forward and to work with a multi-disciplined teams or suppliers to understand root cause of problems and resolve is an area that I enjoy.
