Review, analyze, and redline third party contracts utilizing Apria’s language requirements. Create agreements for clients utilizing Apria form documents, contract clauses and templates. Processes documents for contract execution, conduct contract comparisons and reviews of contracts, perform research of legal issues, including state and federal regulations, assist Apria’s managed care and sales team with various requests, including contract comparisons and general compensation analyses ensuring contract and other legal documents reflect managed care strategic goals, research contracts in contract management system, extracts legally pertinent contract provisions and summarizes applicable clauses and terms for special projects. Work collaboratively with various Apria departments in order to process contract related requests from the field. Manage workload to meet tight deadlines and maintain department productivity standards. Update and maintain contract management database in department regularly. Perform general administrative support for attorneys and managed care group. Maintain the Contract department database by identifying and solving database requirements and supporting users.

Review and recording of contracts (builder and commercial construction accounts), data entry of contract particulars into contract management software, scheduling of labor and materials, job site visits, minor estimating, key customer interface and assisting the Northern California Sales Manager with establishing a new branch location in San Leandro, CA.

Coordinate policies and procedures for construction and design affecting design selection, selection criteria, contract clauses associated with reimbursables, insurance, indemnification, types of payment, project closeout procedures, escrow procedures, and substitutions. Review, analyze and edit existing procedures, policies, professional agreements/contracts and insurance requirements to ensure conformance to State Contractor’s License Law, Business and Professions Code, and UC Facilities Manual. Develop the contract to match the project, advertise construction contracts, assist in construction meetings, conduct bid openings, and award and execute contracts.
