Continuing desktop and Pocket PC support for mobile handheld applications. Wrote submitters for GeoVigilance and the Continuous Data Intelligence (CDI) platform. Submitters are data feeds used to visually represent data on a map and also power the GeoVigilance GIS rules engine. Providing TEAMS web support and currently working towards integrating GeoVigilance with the TEAMS web application. Involved with all phases of TEAMS enhancements and design changes from local to development, staging and production environments.

Designed and developed RAILS, the Radian Automated Integrated Logistics System, a SQL-compliant relational database management system designed to provide automated logistics life-cycle support for any hierarchical system. RAILS was a management tool that tracked all events related to the delivery, installation, maintenance and repair of components including cost, spare parts lists and repair history. Personnel, training and qualification information was maintained in addition to automated preventive maintenance plans. Based on a client/server architecture and written in VBA with a Microsoft Access user interface running on Windows NT SQL Server. Involved in the process of bringing a new product such as RAILS to market. Designed a document management system for General Electric’s Gas Turbine Facility in Greenville, SC. This system tracked all configuration information and documentation during each step of the manufacturing process for GE gas turbines.

Designed and developed a Relational Database Management System to store and present total ship information for the Navy DDG-51 Arleigh Burke class of ship. This system enabled life-cycle management of shipboard information systems such as Combat, C4I, Engineering, Ship Control and Navigation. Using a Microsoft Access 97 front-end, the system effectively shared resources, integrated data and managed information.

Responsible for all software development for the Reliability, Maintainability, Availability (RMA) analysis of the Ohio class Trident submarine Command and Control System. Performed database administration including design, creation, maintenance, loading, indexing, backup and restoration. Migrated a DEC VAX mainframe database system to a desktop Oracle environment. Assisted in the development, coding and review of the Functional Relationships and Reliability Block Diagrams (FRRBDs) for the Trident submarine. Dealt with performance issues and fine tuning while managing a steady growth rate of 10% per year.

Developed PL/1 computer programs, Inquire database queries and Telagraf graphics on an IBM 3090 mainframe computer system to provide all of the RMA indices tables and graphics published in the OHIO class ballistic missile submarine CCS-RMA operational patrol and fleet reports. Provided a menu-driven system to automate the RMA data analysis process. Task leader for the migration of all databases and software from an IBM MVS environment using Inquire and PL/1 to a DEC VAX environment using Oracle and ANSI C.
