Lead Business Analyst
In 2019, L3 Technology merge with Harris Corporation, becoming L3Harris. At that time, I was the only scheduler who worked at Displays division. The programs that I supported were F-35, E-2D, C-130, Apache, C-17, MFD “Muti functional display”, and IRAD. Maintained resources loaded schedules for earn value programs. I provided EVMS metrics to the program teams. Played a key role on training the Finance organization about using Deltek Cobra. For non-EV programs, I would provide financial and schedule performance on a monthly basis. Per DI-MGMT-81861 - Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR), I provided formats 1, 3, and 5 according to contractual requirements. On a monthly basis, we had to explain to management/customers of EV problems and our plan to overcome the issues. I would support IMP (Integrated Master Plan) for proposals before they were submitted to the customers.
Sr. Program Planning & Control Analysis
I was responsible to maintain development programs such as: C-27J, CH-47, SOFVID “Special Operations Force Vertical Instrument Displays.” For IRAD programs, I maintained the schedules for MFD “Muti functional display”, and PANTHR Large Display. Reviewed all schedules and verified compliance with DCMA 14 Assessment. I also supported IMS proposals for E-2D, B-52, and F-35. Trained program managers on proper scheduling techniques. I would keep track of my budget hours by creating an Excel tracker. I write work instructions on critical path management (CPM) and setting up IMS’s for Deltek Cobra for integration. I was the only employee who was trained in Deltek Cobra. I would get cost estimates from Cobra based on IMS resources. On a monthly basis, I would perform EVMS metrics and review them with Program Managers/Stakeholders.
Portfolio Analyst
I provided weekly reports to management of how projects are performing. Created PowerPoint presentations for a step by step visualization process. Developed Excel templates for estimating hours and budgets. Managed all project proposals in Microsoft Project. Continuously updated schedules with scope changes. At times, there was traveling to customer sites and company meetings. I’ve had to maintain all training requirements. Since Fortna was a commercial company, I had to learned to design and build warehouse schedules. Each month, I had to submit progress reports of my performance. I had to manage my budget for the projects I was assigned to.
Program Scheduler
I was responsible for overseeing the Switchblade product line master schedules. On a day to day basis, I would maintain IMS for programs Switchblade 300 series, Blackwing, Topaz, Skunk, IRAD, and Sustainment. I was assigned a mentor to further my knowledge in Microsoft Project. I would resources load IMP (Integrated Master Plan) to support proposal activities.During my time at Aerovironment, I was trained to unitizes Project Server (PWA). That would include resources loading on all IMS (Integrated Master Schedule), run reports on resource utilization, and IMS’s were updated with standard fields. For non-Project users, I developed a schedule utilizing Excel.
Buyer/Planner Ii
I was promoted to Buyer/Planner II in the Production Control group. Where I took on the responsibility of managing the min/max inventory for HgCdTe (Mercury Cadmium Telluride or MCT) wafers. I developed a process where I would manage budgets per program that allowed SIMS (Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry) to be sent out for analysis. The programs that I was responsible for pertain to NASA. Along with Camera products, Propriety programs, and Machine Shop orders.During my time as a Buyer/Planner II, I took over the largest Proprietary programs that had been awarded. Within the programs assigned to me, I updated drawings, bill of material, and established a serial number tracker system for each kit. I worked with QA on materials being release or sent back to the supplier because of issues. I would attend weekly meetings with QA, Engineering, and Program Managers as well.
Operations Planner
When I received my Bachelor in Project Management, I was promoted to Operations Planner in the Production Control group. Where my responsibilities included the Machine Shop. Making sure that orders were placed in a timely fashion, raw materials were available, and I would schedule all orders using Microsoft Project. I would get weekly scheduled updates and find out their anticipated completion date. I would attend weekly meetings to determine the priority list. I was also responsible for scheduling Clean Room equipment that required maintenance. Worked closely with maintenance personnel to order supplies, cryo pumps, and capital equipment. Maintained min/max quantities of Cleanroom inventory. Supported Planners with ordering material, preparing shipments, and kitting materials to the Production floor. From time to time, I would support Thin Film Optics ALEP to provide training.
Inventory Control Lead
After working in Inventory Control Management for two years, I was promoted to Inventory Control Lead. During this timeline, I had to prepare the Stockroom for AS9100 certification. My team and I had to perform cycle counts to verify the inventory system was accurate. Inventory required separation between US Government Property, Finished Goods, Noncompliant, and obsolete material. I was responsible for my team to be compliant with all training records. After the audit, we received the AS9100 certification. Also, I played a big role in updating the ERP System called Deltek CostPoint. My team and I had to perform cycle counts, data entries, receive training, and learn the system to determine the user rights. After the go-live date, I became the expert on CostPoint. I would train my team and anyone who needed access to the system. I managed the Stockroom with day to day operations and personnel that reported to me.
Inventory Control Specialist
The experience in Inventory Control Management, was overseeing inventory for Thin Film Opticals, Cameras, and Imagining Detectors. Part of my responsibility was to fill inventory requests and deliver within a reasonable amount of time. For inventory that involve detectors, I was required to enter a class 10,000 Cleanroom in-order to fill those requests. After QA release final product, I would store in Finish Goods inventory. Support Shipping & Receiving with their duties. Ordered Cleanroom and Stockroom supplies.
