Formulation of electro- functional coatings; characterization of high temperature films, especially surface characteristics related to adhesion via SEM-EDX, XPS, nano-DMA, and AFM; research of atmospheric and low pressure plasma surface treatments for improved adhesion; illumination of structure property relationships of high performance pressure sensitive adhesives using DMA, TGA, chemical structure data and adhesive performance data, development of technical qualification criteria for global sourcing of high performance films, formulation and performance evaluation of long term weatherable coatings/inks.
