Hello, I’m an ambitious, hard-working, motivated person seeking a new career. I’ve mainly been in the transportation industry for over 20years and in search for something different. I was in law enforcement about 18 years ago for a few years with Jefferson County Corrections which is now Louisville Metro Corrections. I really enjoyed it but my father became terminally ill and I needed a flexible schedule to help care for him. I also owed my own landscaping company at one time and then became a landscape supervisor for a company and gave up owning my own business. I’ve done a lot of different jobs that has given me many different skills and knowledge. Some of those skills are; operate a tractor-trailer transporting freight, completed documentation including data entry via computer. Maintain driver log and assure compliance to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Demonstrate customer relation skills. Operate straight, tractor-trailer, van/ refrigerated trailer, tanker, flatbed, lowboy trailer, and small bulk trucks. Safely prepare numerous flammable, corrosive, poison, toxic and non-toxic chemicals for transport. Load and unloaded liquid bulk trucks, rail cars and multiple containers. Operate forklift-propane and electric. Training in proper techniques in use of force, appropriate court room demeanor; Arrest seizure protocol; High speed pursuit drivers training; Report rating; Crisis intervention; Hostage planning; Crime scene preservation; Defense tactics; Firearms training, etc. Work well with others, Identify/solicit sales opportunities, great personality, easy to get along with and like to bring the best out of others.
