As a HRBP for a fintech client, I managed and grew the team from an initial 15 employees to an active headcount of around 60 within six months. Collaborating with business leaders, I aligned HR practices with client goals to enhance recruitment, onboarding, and retention, contributing to the client’s rapid growth and operational success.

Starting with approximately 400 employees, I witnessed and supported the company’s remarkable expansion to 1,100 employees by the time I left. During my tenure, the organization grew beyond a single resort to include several office buildings, hostel facilities capable of housing up to 5,000 individuals, and the development of a new hotel. This role allowed me to contribute to and navigate the challenges of rapid growth in a dynamic international environment.

Reason of Leaving: Opportunity to work overseasAt Best Western Hotel in Petaling Jaya, I gained valuable experience in HR within the hospitality industry, managing employee relations and HR operations. I was also selected to represent HR department in a significant hotel rebranding project, which offered me unique insights into brand transformation and cross-departmental collaboration. This experience strengthened my adaptability and broadened my understanding of brand alignment in a dynamic work environment.

In my role, I assisted in managing a widerange of HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to payroll and compliance, supporting ahigh standard of service and operational excellence within the HR department.
