I am currently employed at Convatec in research and development where I am dedicated to innovating the next generation of advanced wound care products. I have developed a plethora of skills vital for working professionally within a competitive pharmaceutical company and look forward to my new career in a challenging and stimulating environment.I am a Biochemistry graduate who achieved an upper second-class honours degree and have since completed several training courses related to my field. My previous work has been varied, prior to working at 3M/KCI my role was within a solvent recovery QC lab conducting a multitude of analytical tests on a variety of solvent and water samples. In addition, I have worked as an Analytical Chemist performing extractable and leachable studies, and as an R&D laboratory Technician testing next generation tobacco vaporisers, E-liquids and components. Furthermore, I am experienced as a Watchmaker and Goldsmith. My comprehensive work background has provided experience in the design, manufacture and testing of prototypes, quality control, regulations, collaboration and support within a multi-national team, sales and marketing strategies, consumer/clinical feedback and post market surveillance. This has given me greater adaptability and capability to work methodically and troubleshoot any problems whilst meeting shifting deadlines. I am very dedicated and focused with an aptitude for hands on tasks and learning new skills.
