I was entrusted as the final person handling fine art from the likes of Rembrandt, Picasso, Salvador Dali, and modern art from Anthony Hopkins, Rascal, Cleek including many many more! This position highlights my ability to adapt and utilize my skills to successfully enter and be a pivotal team member under a new job title. My eyes and hands were the final quality control. Using my judgment, I would make repairs & perform touch ups to frames, carefully wrap & protect the art, create a plan to protect the art during shipping, then individually design & build the crate from raw lumber in the wood shop to a high production level. I used my detail oriented skills to ensure each piece was properly marked and tracked for shipment to the client. In less than a month I successfully designed & implemented a new process of prioritizing what pieces needed immediate attention, which resolved the previous two month plus long backlog of shipping. I also was entrusted to frame modern art from Artist like Anthony Hopkins, Rascal, Cleek, and many others. I also built frames and stretched new raw canvas for artists as well as taking canvas with art on it and built precise canvas frames & stretched the art on those frames. I will always fondly remember this unique position in Lahaina. In this position I utilized my experience in client services and my sales experience at a high end spa. Within this role I assisted clients with their selection of services and presented opportunities for additional services while also setting the expectations for the guests. I have gained new working knowledge about another POS system and booking software “Booker” along with new knowledge about the services and products available to clients.I enjoyed being to be the go to person to sell more services & get the therapist’s fully scheduled to make their day the most productive. I completed a renovation and did some updates on our home. I also relocated to Hawaii. I kept myself busy with a few projects.

I completed various construction and real estate projects over the years including holding a real estate license. Over the years I’ve built several custom homes from the ground up and completely remodeled several additional homes as well. I am hands on familiar with almost all aspects of construction. I served many roles such as the project manager, budget oversight, contract negotiations, as well as all the responsibilities and decisions that go into bringing a successful project together. I also have large scale commercial jobsite experience. I have experience reading complex commercial blueprints. I have experience on large scope multi unit projects as well, setting doors, cabinets, tops, installing & painting trim and interior surfaces and insulation materials. I have operated many different pieces of equipment including skidsteer’s, mini excavator’s, tracked machines, backhoe’s, scissor lifts, snorkel lifts, dump trailers, paint sprayers, spray foam machines, insulation machines, gas powered tools, air powered tools, etc.I really enjoyed the sense of accomplishment and pride this timeframe in life brought me. Bringing a blueprint or vision to physical reality with all of challenges and decisions involved was extremely rewarding.

As a HVAC Installation Team Lead My role consisted of uniting the team to deliver on the company’s high standard of promises. I also physically installed HVAC equipment in new and existing homes with the team. Our installations looked amazing and demonstrated the pride in workmanship and professionalism each team member provided. We would also assist other departments as needed. One accomplishment I’m proud of was I instituted an inventory system and responsibility checklist that did not exist prior for the necessary installation materials that we would need daily during installations, this process helped save valuable time and money on a repeating daily basis.

I held various roles in a auto body start up. This body shop served a large corporate vendor that I secured a contract with. They were extremely satisfied with the services we provided.

My second time around at Ovation I took on a much different role and was officially the Assistant warehouse manager: Some of the duties included: Receiving inventoryInventory countsDeliveries to customersFleet, driver, and inventory management. As a non titled role we were closing locations due to the economic crisis and we were trying to save as many stores as possible so I would also dismantle stores for closing and we would also liquidate inventory at my home store to keep the remaining stores afloat. This was one of my most challenging roles I have ever held. But in the end the dedicated staff which I was very proud to be part of saved 2 stores which operated for several years afterwards.
