Supervised eight management and support staff.Developed, monitored and analyzed $11 million annual operating budget, and $50 million capital allocation, resulting in a 12% cost savings to the various departments within Facilities Management. Created and monitored a $10 million utility budget, $3 million telecommunications budget and implemented a 400 parking space allocation for all faculty, staff and students. Restructured department’s system of accounts, significantly improving cost center accountability. These efforts created human resource efficiency savings totaling 15%.Spearheaded, with the controller’s office, an accurate reporting mechanism for the functional usage of medical school space and respective square footage to calculate an indirect cost recovery rate for the Federal NIH, increasing the university’s research departments grant resources by 5%.Directed Information Technology support group and coordinated efforts between university and hospital technology and telecommunications departments, reducing human resource costs by 33%.
