Responsible for maximising sales and profitability, through pro-active stock management, front end service and cash office control. Liaise with sales consultants and design team to ensure that sales within showrooms are maximised. Working alongside the General Store Manager to ensure that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to. Deputising for the General Store Manager in their absence. Devising colleague rotas’ and managing wage control. Carrying out team appraisals. Delivering excellent customer service throughout the store. I support the regional controller in trouble-shooting capacity (i.e. covering store managers sickness/ holidays)Main achievements in role:Great sales in 2010/11, increased by 9.5% on previous financial year.Increased sales budget by 2.5% on predicted forecast.Highest showroom annual sales of any store within Focus group 2010/2011.Store of the year winner for region in 2010/2011.Lowest out of stocks for a store relaunch - 18 against day average of 221 Show less
